A short flight took me to Hong Kong - first time I'd visited the former British Colony - my trip coincided with the Hong Kong Sevens Rugby tournament . I was hoping to see Scotland do well but they let me down (again!)
The city is basically one big bar and restaurant but it is possible to get away from it all by hopping on a bus or ferry - there are some great hikes and beaches within an hour of the city.
It was a lovely few days there but pretty soon I was on the night bus to the airport for the last leg of my travels - The Land of the Rising Sun...
