It's that time of year...

...when Wandervet's feet get itchy....:-)

I'm heading East again - A 4 month meander starting with my first visit to the Middle East...Jordan, Israel and Dubai. Taking in the seas, Red and Dead and of course Petra.

From there I cross overland into Israel - the melting pot that is Jerusalem is the first stop - followed by Tel Aviv and a short hop round the north of Israel by car. Returning to the West Bank and Bethlehem before crossing back to Amman from where I fly to Dubai for the weekend

I have a month in Sri Lanka - moving South by train from Colombo to get some beach time in the south before heading to Animals SOS Rescue Centre to do a bit of vet work.

From then on it's all hiking and temples as I make my way up north hoping I don't bump into any Tamil Tigers on the way!

Then it's a long plane journey to the Philippines  - where it's going to all about the beach!

My mask and snorkel are packed as they have some of the best reefs in the world.
It's then a short visit to Hong Kong where I hope to catch the famous Rugby Sevens tournament

The final leg is 5 weeks in Japan. I land in the very south - Kyushu and want to work my way to the very north - Hokkaido - a journey of 2500km - it'll be springtime and I hope to to follow the Cherry Blossom Front (Sakura Zensen) as it moves north.

I hope you will enjoy reading the blogs and of course there's an open invitation for anyone to tag along!
