...and this time I have assistants! Well for the first 2 weeks anyway! As you read this I am heading across the world to Indonesia - my 2 daughters Tarin & Faith are tagging along while I am in Bali and Lombok. They then head back to the UK while I begin the real wanderings in earnest - take a look at the map to see where I'm heading this time...
From Bali I take an overland trip through the wild volcanic landscapes of Java...
From Java I fly to Borneo. Borneo is split between 2 countries - Malaysia and Indonesia. I am starting in the jungles of southern part of Malaysian Borneo with their resident orangutans and working my way north to the beaches
After 3 weeks in Borneo I make my way across the South China sea to Burma where as well as exploring this fledgling democracy. I also hope to do some volunteer veterinary work here.
From Burma I head back to the hectic craziness that is India - this time to Calcutta.The 4 month trip will culmanate in a 20 day trek to Everest - just the base camp! :-)
